Grandfather Clock Repair | FAQ's

Where are you located?

Lindell's does not have a brick-and-mortar location. We service your clock in the convenience of your own home.

Do you fix wall clocks, cuckoo clocks, or mantle clocks?

No, we only fix grandfather clocks. Smaller clocks have parts that are so small
they're best handled in a clock shop

What basic maintenance does my clock need?

Typically every year or two your grandfather clock will need to be oiled. This reduces friction, extending the life of your movement.

How often does my grandfather clock need to be oiled?

Every 1-2 years, your clock manual may say one year or two, however it will be dry for certain within 2 years. This must be done by a professional.

What brands of clocks do you fix?

We provide Howard Miller clock repair, Seth Thomas clock repair, and Ridgeway clock repair. We also service Hershede, Sligh, Colonial and any grandfather clock brand.

I'm moving, will you move my clock for me?

Yes, grandfather clocks need to be secured in order to be moved. Moving a grandfather clock is a delicate process that could damage your clock if not handled professionally. They also need maintenance after being moved. We do not recommend using a regular moving company to do this for you. We will pack, move, and set up the clock for you in its new home.
