We properly lubricate the movement as well as perform all necessary repairs. Some repairs require replacement parts or the entire movement if it is entirely worn out. Prices for parts and movement vary and are not included in the service call. Routine grandfather clock maintenance is recommended to prolong the life of your clock.
SET-UP
When a clock is moved, be it from another state or another room, it requires reassembly of parts that have been removed either intentionally or inadvertently. After moving a grandfather clock, the case will need to be leveled. This is also a good time to have the movement oiled as well.
PACKAGING

Regularly oiling will prolong the life of the movement, but if and when the clock has enough wear and oil no longer reduces friction sufficiently, to keep the works going, an "overhaul" is imminent. This generally implies replacing worn bush, or when possible, the entire movement.
